This is Cat’s largest off-highway mining truck and you know it’s a beast when you need a ladder to get the driver’s seat!

The engine is a quad turbocharged 20 cylinder Cat diesel that pumps out 3793 net horse power. This is matched with the Cat seven speed planetary power shift transmission.  This combo let’s you haul 400 tons at a top speed of 42 mph!

The gross weight is 1,375,000 lbs, so don’t try parking this one in your driveway.  You might run into clearance issues too becuase the 797F is also 25 ft tall, 49 ft long and 32 ft wide – that’s quite a foot print.
